CABE Teaching Resources Award

The CABE Teaching Resources Award serves to encourage the development and dissemination of teaching resource materials in order to enhance the teaching of undergraduate psychology. Consistent with a goal within American Psychological Association's Strategic Plan to prepare the discipline and profession of psychology for the future, the Committee is particularly interested in receiving teaching resources that include evidence-based authentic learning assignments that encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking (Goal 2 of the APA Guidelines for the Undergraduate Psychology Major 3.0). Resources can include but are not limited to those that include the use of AI or other technology tools. Please refer to the scoring rubric for evaluation criteria.
All submissions will also promote APA Project Assessment because awardees will have an opportunity to have their work included in this digital repository of resources.
Number of Awards: A maximum of two awards of $250 each will be given. Each will be presented to recognize submissions that advance quality in the teaching of psychology at the undergraduate level. Additionally, submitted resources that have substantial merit, but that did not win the monetary award, may earn an honorable mention (no monetary award) and may be disseminated by CABE, with the author credited. Applicants are invited to submit multiple teaching activities. However, an applicant may only receive one monetary award.

Process
1. Log in
Log in to the American Psychological Association Awards System with your APA email and password.
2. Create
Create your online application.
3. Save
During the Call for Applications period, your application can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a 
appear in the category tab when the application is saved. At any time, you can download and print your application by clicking on the 
icon in the Application Summary section.
4. Submit
On completion, save your Application as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your application for your records by clicking on the icon in the Application Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Applications period ends, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.
